It's a nicely maintained Noh theater with both buildings and surroundings.
Original Text
When I entered Nagoya Castle from the east gate side and passed through the main gate side, there was a wonderful Japanese-style building across the road. That was the Nagoya Noh Theater. This Noh theater, where Noh and Kyogen are played as traditional Japanese performing arts, opened in 1997. Not only the building, but also the surroundings were arranged in a Japanese atmosphere and it was nice. I think I've never seen such a big and magnificent Noh theater.

I went to a lecture that had nothing to do with the Noh stage. However, the main stage is a magnificent Noh stage and it is a representative place in Nagoya.
It is near the statue of Kiyomasa Kato. Because of the air conditioning equipment, there was a poster that said that the museum was closed for about a month, so I couldn't enter. However, I was able to see the Noh stage at the Tokugawa Museum of Art, which I visited later. I don't know if it has anything to do with this, but it seems that the first feudal clan Naoko liked Noh.
It is very close to the main gate of Nagoya Castle. I was able to tour the Noh stage. The volunteer guide explained carefully, and it seems that this is the largest in Japan. I was able to actually wear a Noh mask (photographing is possible). I also wanted to see Noh performances.

A splendid Noh stage

You can visit it for free.
