a big gate 20 meters long.

    Original Text

In the past, it used to be used for moving to a ship, but now it's a beautiful gate or tower that is lit up at night after finishing its role. There is no parking lot, so it's historically worth going by train or walking hard, but that's it?

you can see it from the MEITETSU and JR train windows.

    Original Text

It is located south of Nagoya Station. You can also see it from the train window of MEITETSU and JR . It will be on the left side of the traveling direction, but it is a moment, so if you are not careful, you will miss it .

    Look out from the ship.

The Matsushige Kaimon gate connects the Horikawa River and the Nakagawa Canal, but it has a Western-style guillotine-like design. It's a pity that it's not used now.

A large water gate seen from MEITETSU

    Original Text

It is a water gate located just off Meitetsu Sanno Station, and you can see it from the train window of Meitetsu. It seems that it was used to adjust the flow rate of the Horikawa and Nakagawa Canals in the past. As you can feel from the retro atmosphere, it played a very good role in the past.

    Modernized heritage

    Original Text

I can see it from the Tokaido Line, but I wanted to take a closer look and got off at Sanno Station and went to see it. It's nice to have a castle-like design on a functional lock. However, it is a pity that the elevated road runs between 2 or towers and divides them.
