Kakuozan Nittaiji Temple

The temple is a witness to the interaction between Thai and Japanese Buddhism. It was first built for the worship of the Thai king's gift of Sakyamuni Shariko and the golden bronze Buddha statue. Compared to some traditional temples, the building is very modern. The temple is the only temple in Japan that does not belong to any religious sect.
