A vermilion gate built in the middle of the approach to the inner shrine
Original Text
Togakushi Shrine Okusha is located in a deep forest at the foot of Mt. Togakushi. There is a legend that "Amaiwado", which appears in Kojiki, flew from Takachiho, Miyazaki Prefecture to Togakushi here and changed into Mt. Togakushi. I parked my car in the parking lot along the prefectural road and entered the approach that lasted about 2km. The Suijinmon is built in the middle of the approach. The thatched roof mixed with green and the vermilion gate are nostalgic. The approach is lined with cedar trees, but beyond the Suijinmon gate, ...
It is the strongest. Excellent atmosphere. At the end of the "Five Shrines Tour" I certainly felt like the gate of the divine area suitable.

It is the strongest. Excellent atmosphere. At the end of the "Five Shrines Tour" I certainly felt like the gate of the divine area suitable. The area was "Hokosha", "Hinomikosha" and "Nakasha", and the remaining ones were "Kuzuryusha" and "Okusha", but at the end, the great approach to the large cedar trees, vermilion, and moss on the roof. Suijinmon. It's the real thrill of mountain worship and Mt. Togakushi. Anyway, please visit. I think you should feel the air around here with your skin. I recommend it.
It is a vermilion gate on the way to Togakushi Shrine's back shrine. I didn't know that it was named Suijinmon, but at first I wondered why the gate was in such a place. After passing here, you will see the large tree of the Okusha.

The Sui Shinmon is a gate dedicated to the god of the gate that prevents evil things from entering the sacred area. The Sui Shinmon of the back shrine is located in the middle of the approach to the shrine, which is almost 2 km. I usually walk from the entrance to the Suijinmon gate to 20 minutes, and I usually walk from the Suijinmon gate to the Okusha shrine to 20 minutes to visit the Okusha. When you cross this Sui Shinmon gate, you will see the wonderful and wonderful rows of Osugi trees that are often posted in posters. It's a really superb view.
