... One of the temples in the area related to Sensoji Temple. From the front arch, there is a long walkway flanked by the Japanese Stone Garden (Zen Garden) ​ to the main temple. Inside the temple is quiet. It is another place to visit.

From the front of the mountain gate of Zenkoji Temple to the east, there was Kankeiji Temple.

　If you head east from Nakamise-dori in front of the mountain gate of Zenkoji, you will find Kankeiji Temple. I entered the precincts from a magnificent gate, but the precincts were large and it was a magnificent temple where you could feel the prestigious height. It is said to be a temple of the Jodo sect Chinzei school, and Chion-in is the head temple.

A Buddhist temple of the Jodo sect. The head temple is the branch temple of Chion-in Temple in Kyoto. There is a site so that it touches the precincts of Zenkoji Temple. It was founded by Mr. Kurita in the 12th century at the end of the Heian period, and Mr. Kurita served as a betto of Zenkoji Temple, so it seems that it moved to its current location at the end of the 15th century. In the large gate town, Zenkoji Temple, which is a non-sect, attracts various temples and shrines.

The garden is beautiful.
