Even if you can see the Washinoki Remains landing monument, I stopped because the Washinoki Ruins (the place where one of the largest ring stones in Hokkaido was discovered in a complete form) were not open to the public. Although it is part of the 8000-year history of Morimachi, I visited the Mori Pier and the ruins of the Sanbara Jinya, the site of the residence of the southern domain of the eastern Ezo clan, as an experience of the history from the Edo period.

It is an archaeological site with the largest annular stone column in Hokkaido in the late Jomon period. It seems that it is in good condition because it was thickly covered with the volcanic ash of Mt. Komagatake that erupted in the Edo period, and the eruption is not only bad.
