As I was walking along Hiranoya-dori, where the tiles were laid, I happened to see a plate of "registered tangible cultural property". I stopped by without prior knowledge, but it looked like a retro-architectural public bath building founded in 1897. Because it was a weekday morning, the front door was closed and it was finished just by looking at the appearance.
This time I went to Maizuru because the main purpose was to enter Wakanoyu-san, so it was nice to take a bath while it was bright. Please be careful as it seems that you will be closed due to boiler construction from January 12th to mid-April 2020.
When I was strolling around Nishi Maizuru, there was a retro public bath. Wakanoyu is a bathhouse founded in Meiji ３６ in the year, and the current building was built in 1918 and is designated as a registered tangible cultural property. It seems that the water is boiled using Shimizu in Manai. I took a bath with an empty-handed set and remembered my childhood in a nostalgic atmosphere. I also enjoyed talking with the locals.
