Do not park on the bridge, there is a fine for illegal parking and photography. . 📷Shooting Location There are three bridges in the Metasequoia forest. In fact, most of the photos can be taken near these three bridges. - ▫️The first bridge is built on the lake surface, surrounded by Metasequoia trees. It's suitable for aerial photography and very photogenic. It's the most visited place and the 'Internet-famous bridge' that most tourists will look for when they arrive at Dianwei Village. How to get there: After leaving the parking lot, you will see a place similar to a police booth. Follow the main road on the left and walk to the second standalone building along the way. There is a very inconspicuous small fork in the road opposite the house. Go around the railing and follow the path to reach the bridge. The railings on both sides of this bridge are already incomplete. It's somewhat dangerous when it's crowded, so be careful when taking photos. It's suitable for flying drones here. If you don't have a drone, you can stand in the middle of the bridge and take photos of the trees on both sides, or sit on the edge of the bridge and take close-up shots. - ▫️The second bridge is the one that the car will pass when arriving at Dianwei Village. There are many vendors selling various things on the bridge. The main focus here is to take photos of the Metasequoia forest and the scenery. You can also buy a balloon as a prop for later photos. - ▫️The third bridge is a short section that you will pass when you leave the parking lot, parallel to the second bridge. There is a speed limit sign on the bridge. You can stand next to the stone pier and take photos with the Metasequoia trees behind you. A little further ahead, there is a small path that leads down to the forest. The forest here is not close to the water, and there are very few tourists, so you can take photos as you like. The sun is too strong during the day, making it difficult to control the light. But if it's cloudy, it's also very good, the rising mist will give a more fairyland-like feeling. -I read in the guide that there are a lot of people on weekends and there will be traffic jams. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and it was not as congested as imagined. You can also take photos without people in the scene if you wait patiently on the bridge. Of course, if you can go earlier on a weekday, you may have a better experience. -After the tour, you can buy some snacks on the bridge.
