Petrosains, The Discovery Center is a Malaysian science and technology museum located in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur within Suria KLCC, the Petronas Twin Towers. Petrosains was established on 25 March 1999 offering the perfect place for visitors through the wonder of science and technology. Here visitors can learn about Malaysia's involvement in the oil industry. At Petrosains, The Discovery Center has prepared a platform model more or less the same as a real oil platform known as Oil Platform Petrosains A. All models have been built to the original scale as in oil rigs. Most of the tools provided at this exhibition are real tools. #kualalumpur Petrosains, The Discovery Centre. Located at Level 4 of KLCC. We went to visit during the last School holidays at April 2023. It is advisable to get online tickets before you visit to Petrosains. It was very crowded during school holidays! Not only kids but Adults are having fun there. Very informative and interesting science knowledge you can find there. All sort of activities that suit for kids from 7-18 years old. Recommended to go!

Our trip to KL was a 4 day trip from the 27th to the 31st of December and all entertainment was planned solely for the kids. After some research I was able to shortlist a couple of attractions to take the kids to and the Discovery Centre topped the list. What a fantastic trip it was both my kids 2.5 and 3.5yr olds loved it, enjoyed every minute of it and so did we. We spent about 3hrs in there,opted for walking in as we had to wait for 45min for the ride. The entrance ticket costs about 28MR for adults and 16.5MR for kids. This place is on Level 4 of Petronas Towers. When we arrived there was a school group in front of us and we thought it may make our experience longer than normal. Except for the beginning, it wasn't an issue. Cost when we were there was 28 MYR per person. At the beginning you are taken on a small cart on wheels and they step you through some technology over different areas of Malaysia's history. You are the dropped into the exhibition area. There are 11 exhibits to see. Space, Time Tunnel, Geotime Diorama, Science Station, Sparkz, Oil Platform, Speed, Molecule Nano World, Future Energy and 3D Theatre. There is a Cafe about 1/2 way through which stocks basic snacks and coffee at a reasonable price. After 2 hours we had only done 1/2 of the exhibitions. An interesting concept science centre which starts off with a right to talk about the energy and its transition. This is followed by alot of hands on experiments. However, place ia very crowded with many school kids and long queuea for many of the experiences. Great place to be for the people who loves or appreciate science. For family with young kids, this is a place to be. Got to repeat it again next time. Thank you petrosains management and staff,.. you guys are awesome!! Lots to discover. The best RM 37 I ever spent! Going to Petrosains to make my man's dream comes true is so worth it since they have a lot of section! We even managed to play the F1 simulators twice as they have 3 type of simulators. Not only that, we get to make origami, and play around with blocks and AI robots. They also have a section on the past, about dinosaurs due to the fossils. And for now, they have capsule ride but for that one, we need to pay extra to take the ride but we didn't manage to do it since we were rushing at that time. But overall, we spent 2 hours+ and it's still a lot of things to discover. I wish I could spend more times there and wising tbat 2023 will be another year to discover a lot of things and to gain new experiences! #2023travelwish #awesomepic #couplestrip

An excellent place that melds hands-on interactive exhibits/activities with comprehensive science and physics explanations. The entry fee is extremely reasonable for the size of the center, and staff are easily accessible in all areas. ✨ Pleasantly surprised. Did not expect much but the place was well maintained, interactive and had lots of interesting manipulatives. Narrative was detailed without being overly technical. The animatronic dinosaurs were cool and lots of physics and oil and gas displays and toys. 👣 Affordable place to go for a date with your partner or with your family. First time visited this science center. It gives me a very surprise experience that I am proud that Malaysia has this good place for the tourist and the local people to visit. The center is big and you may need to spend at least 2 hours and above to enjoy it.. Many experiential things inside to explore. It is indeed a good place to bring kids 😍#mytripvlog
