The ruins of Kito Castle are the oldest and full-fledged mountain castle in Japan built in 665 along with the ruins of Ono Castle (Fukuoka Prefecture), and are called "Korean-style mountain castles" because of their structural features. I went there for the first time as part of a tour of Japan's Top 100 Castles. It seems difficult to go to the ruins of the castle, so I went to the Kiyama Town Municipal Hall to get a stamp. There was also a model of the castle in a corner of the lobby. The stamp was in the office and was very kind.
