Yamane dormouse is unique in Kiyosato (Yamanashi-Prefec)
Yamane (dormouse) is being affected by climate change. The community of yamane is getting reduced as food (usually sweet fruits) is getting less in the forest areas where they are used to live. This m...
Yamane Museum living in Kiyosato. I was worried about it for a long time, but I went for the first time on a trip with my daughter's family and three households. 2 The grandson was very happy. I was able to take pictures and play.
Many handmade Yamane materials are on display. There is no real Yamane, so I will introduce it in videos. It's also nice to take a leisurely look at the nice scenery on the veranda after seeing it.
I stopped by while strolling through the small diameter of Mt. Fuji and murmuring. As a measure against corona, we will operate panels and exhibits using the "Yamane stick" rented at the reception. The exhibition is full of handmade feelings for children, but the contents are very substantial, and adults can enjoy it enough. It's a very good museum where you can feel warm and like Yamane after seeing it.
Although it is called Yamane Museum, the real Yamane is not exhibited. It is also written at the entrance. Because the scale is small, it is troublesome to say that it is worth 420 yen, but you can get a pin pad, so if you think of it as a pin pad, it is regrettable to put out 420 yen.

The view from the veranda is good.

It was better than I thought.
