A gem at Hita
This is one of the must visit place in Hita. It is near the center and easy to access by car. It tells the one of tradition festival of Hita. The display is amazing.
It was close to the inn, so I stopped by. There were vivid mountains lined up inside, which was powerful. You can see it from the 2nd floor and feel the height. I wanted to see these people parade around the city.
Hita is a hall that displays the mountains around Nanbukuma Town. There is Yasaka Shrine opposite, and it was registered as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage at the grand festival there. There are several gorgeous mountains and the history of this festival is exhibited.
I visited Hita City without knowing anything, but I was surprised to know that there is a hikiyama in Gion! The high-rise decorative mountain, which is different from Hakata, is worth a visit.
When I looked at the map from Kameyama Park, it was close, so I visited by car. It faces a not very wide road, but there was a parking lot for 5 or 6 cars in front. There was an exhibition of mountains on the 1st floor, and the 2nd floor was an exhibition of videos and materials. You can also see the mountains from the 2nd floor. When I was looking at it on the 1st floor, the staff came and talked about various things. It used to be a pure town event, but it was an uninteresting story, such as the decrease in population and the recent number of participants from the surrounding area. ...
