    Beautiful Summit Picnic Spot

Amazing view! We even saw part of Mt. Fuji as it was cloudy but I can imagine what the view can be like when it’s a clear day. We hiked from Mitake San to Mt. Odake. It was a really nice hike. There a...

Tough work but adventurous and worth it

Mitake-shrine (Mt Mitake) to Mt Odake is not an easy walk and it takes roughly 2.5 hours one way, around 5 km. It is much quicker to descend and you can probably get back to the Shrine in 90 minutes. ...

It's a popular mountain, but there are dangerous places.

    Original Text

Many people visit the famous mountain in Okutama. Some children and people who are clearly different from their climbing clothes are climbing. I want you to climb with measures and preparations.
