Road station of history and coexistence
Original Text
I stopped by for lunch. The souvenir shop was lined up with a wide variety of Hagi specialties and vegetables. The inside of the store was easy to see and the products were exhibited. You can visit the Shoin Memorial Hall, where you can learn about history for free.
When I stopped by the roadside station Hagi Oki, I took a walk around it. In an era when there were no cars, when I wondered if the change of Sankin and the priests at the end of the Edo period came and went through this mountain road, the historical romance spreads somehow. There are old cobblestones nearby, and I think it's a very interesting place for history fans.
There was a signpost for "Hagi Oka" in front of the Kosatsuba on the road behind the Hagi Bus Center. There was also a Hagi Road original signpost. But I couldn't follow any more because I walked in either direction for a few minutes and it was a dead end.
When I stopped by for a restroom break at the roadside station Hagi Ogo, I took a short walk around the area and found a guide to Hagi Ogo at the back side. Now, even if I drove, I wondered if I used to walk across a mountain road.
There is also a roadside station and Hagi fishing port, making it a scenic place. There is a shrine with red torii gates lined up in Yamate a little from the coast, and it is a little-known spot on this historic road.

Feel the historical romance.
