Göreme Open Air Museum

Continue the trip to Turkey. After a long time, I finally arrived from Ankara to Cappadocia. Cappadocia is the place where Turkey is playable, and many reviews will be written later. The first stop in Cappadocia came to the landmark, the Goreme Open Air Museum, which features special buildings and is intertwined with cultural and cultural exhibitions. Listening to the tour guide said some stories of religious struggles in this museum, but also said it was messy, listening to a general. They are all small stone houses, the contents are not understandable. Several are paid areas, but according to the group friends who went in to visit, they were similar to the outside and couldn't understand it. This museum has a good view.

A glimpse into what life used to be... able to see the remains of the cave chapels, storage, kitchen, dining area, etc of the monks and nuns. quite educational and easy to visit. there s an ice cream store selling ice cream outside and its great too after the visit.

We enjoyed traveling to Goreme open air museum last May. The weather was just perfect not too hot and not too cold. And not so many travelers. Very beautiful nature with unique rocks and mountains.

It is certainly worth going! Christians who came here in the second century AD used volcanic eruptions to build cave houses, settle and gradually form villages. The rocks formed by magma were not very hard, people cut holes in the rocks, there were bedrooms and kitchens and even built churches. The buildings almost 2000 years ago are certainly worth visiting!

Within walking distance from Goreme town, many caves and to explore, fantastic views on the walk there.

The town of Goreme, famous for the strange terrain and hot air balloons nearby, most of them do not need tickets, you can reach here from the town, the winter wind is very strong, the terrain is really strange, if you want to walk a lot of time, we walked part of it, it is recommended to see.
