For these giant statues, I flew 15,000 kilometers
Coming to Easter Island is like fulfilling a dream. This lonely island in the vast sea is really in the middle of nowhere, more than 3,000 kilometers away from mainland Chile. It takes 5 hours by plane, and even the tickets are hard to buy, so it's not easy to make a trip here.
The island is very small, it takes only half an hour to drive from south to north, there are not many rich products and unique landscapes, it can be said to be a plain volcanic island.
We stayed on the island for 5 days and 4 nights, which was plenty of time. Now in spring, the daylight hours are long, 3-4 days are enough to see most of the attractions on the island.

These are the most classic and important attractions. There are also others such as the statue hat factory, Vaihu indigenous village, etc. that you can go to.

🟤Day 3
You can go horse riding in the morning, you can ride to the highest point of the island to overlook, about 2-3 hours, after finishing, have a meal and catch the 3 o'clock flight back to Santiago.
Chile's Easter Island is a small island in the South Pacific known for its mysterious culture and beautiful natural scenery. It has unique Moai stone statues, ancient ruins, beautiful beaches and azure oceans. Visitors can visit the site, enjoy the island's beauty, experience the local culture and traditions. The Moai Stone on Easter Island is one of the island's most famous attractions, towering over the clouds, spectacular, and witnessing ancient civilizations.
Easter Island is located in the eastern South Pacific, geographically belonging to the Polynesian Islands, located at the eastern end of the islands, the most remote island in the world. Islanders originally rely on fishing, a few sweet potatoes for their livelihood, and most engage in tourism services. The island's indigenous Polynesians call the island "the center of the world."
Easter Island, known as the belly button of the earth, takes five hours to fly west of the South American mainland, and only one flight a week (sometimes two). The Easter Island ecosystem is very primitive, the island is most famous for the sea of rows of stone statues, as to when these statues on the island, I am afraid that archaeologists have yet to study.
It is said that in order to make the large stone statues, the islanders have run out of wood.
The only problem is that it is too far from every continent.
