Liuding Mountain Cultural Tourism Zone is located in the southern suburbs of Dunhua City. There is a bronze seated statue of Sakyamuni at the peak of the mountain, which is the iconic attraction of Liuding Mountain and is very majestic.

The Liuding Mountain Cultural Tourism Area is very large, and you can travel between various attractions by car. On the way to the core attraction Zhengjue Temple, you will see the road leading to the ancient tombs and Qingzu Temple, but it is recommended to visit Zhengjue Temple first. Zhengjue Temple was first built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The abbot of the temple, Master Shi Fo Xing, worked hard to raise Buddhist funds at home and abroad to rebuild the temple. Entering the temple gate is Fayin Square. On the central axis are five double-eaves halls, including Shanmen Hall, Daxiong Hall, and Guanyin Hall, which gradually rise with the mountain. Among them, the Main Hall is high on a three-story fenced platform decorated with nine dragon ink stone carvings. There are three camphor wood Buddhas in the hall, as well as the ceramic wall where Sakyamuni became enlightened, eight white marble dragon columns, green leather wood partition doors, The luxurious caissons are exquisite works of temple architecture. The Guanyin Hall is also unique. The hexahedral statue of Guanyin with six thousand hands and eyes covered in pure gold is a masterpiece of art.

After the tour, return to the temple gate and go to the left to reach the Jade Buddha Garden. The Jade Buddha Garden is located in a natural round mountain depression and is a three-story pavilion and tower-style building. The first floor is the Jade Buddha Hall, which enshrines the recumbent image of Sakyamuni in Nirvana. It is carved from a single piece of Burmese jade and is lifelike. On the three sides of the reclining Buddha's head, back and feet are more than two meters high Burmese jade statues of the ten disciples. The second floor is the Pavilion of Ten Thousand Buddhas. You can see a three-dimensional "City of Ten Thousand Buddhas" in the shape of a 360-degree circle. There are 1,080 Buddhist niches in the city and 1,080 Burmese jade seated Buddhas are enshrined. This floor is a relic pagoda, used for enshrining Buddhist relics.

There are also two major attractions in the scenic area: the Qingzu Temple and the Ancient Tombs. If you have enough time, you can continue to visit. Dunhua is the birthplace of the Qing royal family. In order to commemorate the birth of Bukuli Yongshun, the founder of the Qing Dynasty, who quelled the rebellion of the three surnames and established the first Manchu regime, the Qing Ancestral Temple was built here. The Ancestral Temple of the Qing Dynasty consists of three major projects: the Temple of the First Ancestor, the Temple of Heavenly Lady, and the Hall of Ancestors. It integrates shaman culture, especially shaman sacrifices and other intangible cultural heritage, and has become a holy place for Manchus at home and abroad to seek their roots and worship their ancestors, and a place where their humanistic spirit can be seen. home.

The ancient tombs of the Bohai Kingdom are located in the Liuding Mountain in the northwest of the scenic spot. In 698 AD, Da Zuorong, the leader of the Suwei tribe of Mohe, established the Zhen Kingdom in Dunhua. He was later canonized as the Bohai County King by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and has been passed down for more than 200 years. As the mausoleum of the early royal family of the Bohai Kingdom, the Liudingshan ancient tombs have a simple structure and are integrated with the mountain topography. The ancient tombs that can be visited today include two tombs with more than 100 large and small tombs. Among them is the tomb of Princess Zhenhui. The excavated stone lions and epitaphs are relatively precious.
