Beautiful, worth the long and winding road to get there.
The cave dwellings are fascinating! The rivers and trails are awe-inspiring. Bring the right shoes so you can just walk across the river and find the trail on the other side. It's so worth it.
Going here to hike is great, because you can leave the city in just minutes and be in the wilderness. We hiked the turkey creek trail finding cool rocks. Little bit of a drive getting in, 4x4 to Turke...

The road thru the park is stunning but very curvy with some good hills to climb. The tall pines will take your breath away.
