Charles de Gaulle Square

Big traffic

One of the entrances to Herastrau park. In the middle of the square there is a statue of De Gaulle. It is not a real attraction.

The entrance to the Mihai I park.

This little square is just another entrance to the big Mihai I park. While the square isn't an "attraction" on its own, it's a good an entrance as any to this lovely park.

Nothing special

A vast open area that you would pass through if you do the city bus tour, it is very busy but a nice area and park not too far away.

Easy to get to

This would have to be the gate way to Herastrau park also a vey busy square, with 4 main roads intersecting it, we found the metro was the easiest and quickest to get there, also an enjoyable walk bac...
