MILITARY CHURCH
Located in "Eixo Monumental", next to Army Head Quarter. It was built with part of the material used on the platform for the Pope's visit to Brasilia.
Cathedral of the Queen of Peace
This very modern cathedral, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, is actually a church. Being inside it is nice to see how the design of the windows does accentuate to building structure.
Showing the path
The "Monumental Axis" divides Brazil in the north and south. This cathedral marks the beginning of a walk along the Axis. From there you can see other attractions: Memorial JK, Television Tower ....
Here was the first miss !
It is a small cathedral with a great symbolic and historical value.
