    Dirty square

    The monument to Santander is in a square that’s covered in graffiti and surprisingly dirty. Watch yourself at night here.

    Nice Statue

    Nice statue in the centre of Plaza Santander outside the gold museum. Nice fountain near the base. Worth a look if you are passing but nothing really to go out of your way to see.

    Get rid of graffiti

    The locals treated this monument with utter contempt. That is saddening. At least, get rid of graffiti!!
