Exploring the salt mine and cathedral of Zipaquira is an enchanting and mesmerizing. In the mountain there are two salt cathedrals - 1954 and closed 1992 for safety reasons. 180m below ground there are 14 chapels with Stations in f the Cross - Jesus’ last journey leading to a main cave with a mammoth cross at a world largest underground church. It is illuminated from the bace up.
