Worth a visit if you are in the area, could only spend 30 minutes or so here. There is all that much to see, but there are some ruins. Peaceful to walk around.
Myndos gate from ancient times. This was part of city of Halicarnassus
This was a short drive from our hotel. Historical ruins of the city of Halicarnassus. You can walk around and it also has a description to read about the origin. Its free entry.
Nice historical sight to walk to, worth going to see. No entry fee. Really close to the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus (1 of the seven wonders of the ancient world).
This place must have once been quite a lovely area. Sadly, any preservation/restoration seems to have ground to a halt. Any maintenance that is carried out must be missing all the old plastic bott...
