Laigu Glacier is actually a collective name for a group of glaciers, which also includes the Mexi Glacier, Yalong Glacier, Ruoqiao Glacier, Xiongjia Glacier, and Niuma Glacier. There are stunning blue ice walls and blue ice caves here, making one doubt that such scenery could actually exist. Yalong Glacier is personally considered to be quite spectacular

1⃣️The glacial lake in front of the glacier tongue, taking direct shots of the glacier details
2⃣️Laigu Village, capturing the long depth of the glacier
⚠️Tips:
🎈Only in January and February, the glacial lake forms a thick layer of ice, and you can walk directly from the lake surface into the glacier. Other times it may be blocked and entry is not allowed, so the timing of your visit is very important!
🎈We flew directly to Changdu, if you feel the altitude is too high, you can fly to Linzhi or Lhasa and then join a tour/charter a car/carpool/self-drive there, to acclimatize
🎈The light effect on the Laigu Glacier is better in the morning, and on sunny days, you can get a better blue glacier effect for photos
🎈Accommodation on the second day is recommended in Basu or Ranwu Town, and you can return to Bomi for accommodation on the third day
🎈Bring/rent ice grips, so it's easier to walk on the ice surface, hats, sunglasses, face towels, sunscreen, and high-calorie snacks are essential
🎈After reaching the main entrance, you need to hike/ride a horse into the scenic area, about 20 minutes, horse riding around 100/person
🎈The ultraviolet rays are very strong, it's quite sunny during the day, wearing a down jacket is enough
🎈Do not rashly enter the interior of the glacier! Be sure to pay attention to safety
Incomparably shocking, it is worth a visit. The weather is very beautiful when it is good. If you have the ability to go to Yalong, it will be even better. You can ride horses inside, there are not so many places to hike, and the physical strength is not high. As long as you have adapted to the plateau before, it will be fine.
You can take a look, it is better to see in winter. We went to see at the end of March and only saw a small part, which can be described as the tip of the iceberg. If there is a car sent to the ancient village, you can see the whole picture of the glacier mouth from a distance.
Awesome glacier experience, although it is far away, it is worth a visit. It is very safe to wear ice claws, if there is3-4 hour time, you can not ride a horse. The blue ice cave takes time to find, some are very small, and you need to pay attention to safety when entering. In addition, the glacier needs more people to protect, the site is not too clean, there are many garbage left by tourists, polluting the environment.
The wife is beautiful, you can go down to see the blue ice recommended to ride a horse not to walk, it is difficult to climb without a non-slip chain can be rented at the mouth of the glacier, 25 yuan a pair of horse riding 100 back and forth, it is worth it, after all, the road is difficult to walk
When you come to Tibet, you still have to go to the ancient glacier. There are few opportunities to see it in other places. You can drive in without taking a sightseeing car, but there is still a way to go there, or ride 100 back and forth. The plateau is not suitable for vigorous exercise. It is recommended to ride horses. It's worth seeing in terms of landscapes
It's so beautiful, it seems like a trip to Frozen. It's been in mid-February. The weather is hot this year, and many have begun to turn, but fortunately, I didn't miss it. Be sure to take a battery car in, it's really far away. At the designated point, it is best to ride a horse, round trip 100 people, and the physical strength is better on the ice. If you don't have time to buy ice claws online in advance, there are also places, 25 rent a pair, it works. Be sure to be fully armed, hats, scarves, gloves, sunglasses... It is best to wear warm and light clothes for easy movement. Various film visions can be played freely.
