The history of the memorial began in 2003, when the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation announced a competition for the best monument design. No sane person doubted that a memorial was necessary, but it was also clear that a truly unique project was needed. As a result, in 2004, the project "Reflection of Absence" was announced as the winner of the competition, authored by American-Israeli architect Michael Arad from Handel Architects. Landscape designer Peter Walker helped him create the project. The project provided for the creation of two pools with the largest artificial waterfalls in the United States, which would cascade from the edges of the pools located exactly in the places where the skyscrapers stood. The area of each pool is 4 thousand square meters. meters, and both of them symbolize the human tragedy and the emptiness that remained after the terrorist attacks. As for the surrounding landscape created by Walker, it includes 4 hundred eucalyptus trees and white oaks planted on the territory of Memorial Plaza.

⛰ [Attraction Guide] 📍 Detailed address: 1000 Hall of Fame Ave, Springfield, MA 01105🚗 Traffic Guide: Walk from spring museums, about 18 minutes walking distance 🕙 Opening hours: Thursday to Sunday 11:00-16:00💰 Ticket price: 28 knives for tickets, 23 knives for students 🌟 Highlights: When I came over, the memorial was being renovated and not open. So there was a wave of restaurants outside, the memorial building was also very interesting, basketball shape, if there are NBA fans, be sure to set aside time to punch in. There is a shopping mall nearby, free parking, self-driving is more convenient. The memorial is only open from Thursday to Sunday. It is recommended to confirm the opening hours on the official website before the visit.

This scene is often seen in large American films: behind the majestic Washington statue, there are eight columns of Greek temple-style majestic buildings. Because it is the site of Washington's swearing-in as president, the National Memorial Hall of the Federation has become a place for patriotic education; because it is close to the Trinity Church, the copper cattle, and the cruise ship terminal, it has become a must-have road for Chinese tourists, and it has been a bustling and endless flow of people.

The popular venue for American football games, you can enjoy the Dragons game and the Long Islanders game. It is especially exciting. There will be concerts when there are concerts, but tickets are not easy to buy.

The convention center is the main exhibition and conference venue in Boston. It is not as big as expected. The surrounding scenery is still relatively beautiful, but if you are not passing by or attending the meeting, you don't have to come here.

I went to check in at the West Orange Edison National Historical Park before, and found that there was an Edison Memorial Tower nearby, so I came to visit again. It is said that the world's first actual incandescent light bulb was born here in October 1879. Edison experimented here before moving to West Orange in 1884, and the tower also marks the location of Edison's Menlo Park Lab. The spire represents an incandescent bulb, and the museum displays Edison's inventions, including phonographs and various light bulbs
