川粤半部论语Border Town, the border town described by the master writer Shen Congwen. I made a special trip to stop by, even getting off the highway in Chongqing. I exited the highway at Hong'an, Chongqing, and arrived at the "Three Provinces in One Scene" scenic area. Crossing the bridge, I reached Chadong in Hunan, entered the Border Town Chadong Scenic Area, and walked along the river to the end, climbing the mountain to see Cuicui Residence and the White Pagoda. I originally planned to visit the Three Provinces Viewpoint, but halfway up, I realized I was short on time and turned back. On the return trip, I arrived at the Lala Ferry Terminal (there are boat tours for 25 yuan, but I didn't have time and had to skip it). I took the Lala Ferry for 2 yuan back to Hong'an, Chongqing (it felt a bit like the Ciqikou Wharf). Walking along the street, I checked out the Liu-Deng Army's March into Southwest China Exhibition Hall. Then I walked back to the parking lot and drove away. The whole trip took 2.5 hours. The border town isn't large, and the commercial atmosphere isn't strong. A typical visit takes about 3-4 hours, but a more in-depth tour could include an overnight stay. Enjoy a boat ride, feel the gentle river breeze, experience the tranquility of the border town, and perhaps even discover the pure and beautiful humanity of Cui Cui. Features: The town is permeated with "Cui Cui" culture. It features stone steps reminiscent of Chongqing's Hong'an, and bluestone paths reminiscent of Hunan's Chadong. Chongqing's Hong'an restaurants are mostly hot pot restaurants, while Chadong has a plethora of noodle shops. The Guizhou side is also full of sour fish soup. Disadvantages: Construction is still underway in Chongqing's Hong'an area, which negatively impacts the experience. Ideally, construction should be fenced off to prevent tourists from seeing the buildings. If I weren't in a rush, I would love to stay here for several more days.

206***56Fanjingshan truly exceeded my expectations! The air was fresh, the sea of clouds was ever-changing, and every step was a picturesque scene. Taking the cable car up saved a lot of energy, and we could enjoy the beautiful scenery of the primeval forest along the way. The mushroom-shaped rock formation was unique and made for great photos. Although the Red Cloud Golden Summit and the Old Golden Summit were temporarily closed, seeing the sea of clouds and mountain views from the mushroom rock made all the hard work worthwhile. The mountain trails were well-maintained and clearly marked. We happened to arrive during a porridge distribution at the temple, and the porridge warmed us up nicely. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend coming to experience the magnificence and tranquility of Fanjingshan.

川粤半部论语Explore Fenghuang Ancient Town during the off-season. Less crowds, perfect for taking photos. Hotels are cheaper, traffic is light, and parking is convenient. Fenghuang Ancient Town is a place worth experiencing in depth. The town's culture, the morning scenery along the Tuojiang River, and the birdsong and fragrant flowers in the mountaintop park are all worth savoring. This ancient town, home to Shen Congwen's former residence, is worth a visit. Choose a spot and quietly relax for two or three days.

_TI***1vFurongzhen is worth a visit, but it’s quite a small area and can be covered within a few hours. Lights come on at 5.30pm, so be sure to find a good dining spot to view the scenery while you eat. Be ready to walk and climb stairs if you wish to locate hidden photo spots.

Duc NghiaWe did the three bridges first and there was that little food street and after walking with some other Chinese tourist we found the poorly signed bus to go to the fissure Gorge. Well it is on the other side of the three bridges, you can actually see the elevator in the beginning of the three bridges trail. But this walk is waaaay more beautiful and even less crowded. Only thing. The bus back from the end of the trail to the tourist center. It took soooooooo long. We almost missed the last train home. So please be aware and try to go early.

Citizen Of This WorldTianmen Mountain is a must-see in Zhangjiajie! The 999-step climb to Heaven’s Gate is tough but totally worth it for the view. If you prefer, you can take the escalator almost to the top. The mountain road with 99 curves is scenic but winding—better take the cable car for amazing views. Don’t miss the glass walkways and cliffside paths, and bring warm clothes since it’s colder up there. A perfect mix of nature, thrill, and great infrastructure!
