Highlights: Xinglong Tropical Garden is located at the foot of Qingmei Mountain in Wanning Xinglong Hot Spring Resort City, Hainan Province. It is a large-scale comprehensive scenic spot integrating nature, humanities, gardens and ecological protection. The garden was built in 1992 and covers an area of 5,800 mu. A tropical plant viewing area, a tropical rain forest viewing area, a biological breeding area, a reconstructed tropical rain forest area (celebrity tree planting area), a horticultural viewing area, a forest camping area and other tourist areas will be built. The park has a wide variety of creatures and the tropical rain forest is prosperous, which has initially restored the biodiversity of the region and formed a virtuous circle of ecological environment. Hundreds of thousands of tropical ornamental plants have been planted in the garden, including 65 rare and endangered plants, 27 of which are listed in the "Red Book of Chinese Plants", and 8 rare and endangered plants that have been introduced and cultivated. Many plants facing imminent extinction have been protected by the places they moved into, multiplied and formed colonies.
