Anonymous userHuangshan Scenic Area truly deserves its title as "The Most Wonderful Mountain Under Heaven"! Its "Five Wonders"—uniquely shaped pines, bizarrely shaped rocks, and a sea of clouds—are breathtaking, with numerous peaks exceeding 1,000 meters in altitude. Even Xu Xiake praised it highly; its scenery is beautiful in all four seasons and definitely worth a visit! 👍

Peaceful99Worth the Price, Relaxed ExperienceBought the Hongcun entrance ticket on Trip. For Malaysians, it’s RM30.50 per adult, which I think is quite reasonable. The ticket allows free entry for 3 days with unlimited re-entry, so there’s no pressure to rush. We could visit at different times and really enjoy the village at our own pace.We went once in the evening to watch the sunset — very peaceful, with beautiful reflections of the white walls and black roofs on the water. Then we visited again on the morning of the third day, which felt more lively with more visitors around.Seeing Hongcun at different times gave us very different vibes. Overall, a calm and beautiful place, and definitely worth visiting if you like slow travel and traditional Chinese villages.

139***31The staff at the entrance were very welcoming. The ancient village streets were clean and tidy, with a rustic and tranquil environment. Faded couplets, colorful lanterns, and a strong sense of community filled the air. Fields were right next to the village, and elderly people were basking in the sun and chatting on stone benches. There was a huge scarecrow in the fields… It's definitely worth a visit.

M18***55For children raised in Midwestern cities, the scenery of Chengkan Village might not be as breathtaking. The fish lanterns at night are quite attractive, with fun activities like inviting tourists to participate in holding them. Management is a bit chaotic, but still within acceptable limits. The local elderly guides in Chengkan Village are highly recommended. The elderly couple at the breakfast shop outside the North Gate will greet you with smiles and say "Enjoy your meal, take care." The kindness of strangers during your travels is a wonderful reward.

_We***12The touristy, man-made photo spots are all the same across the country. Also, while public transportation is cheaper than cable cars, all the road signs point to the islands, and there are no public transportation signs.

Anonymous userThe Huizhou Prefectural Government Office is a later-restored antique-style building with relatively simple furnishings and few core cultural relics. What is worth seeing is that you can walk up the city wall from the side gate behind the government office. The city wall is more than 10 meters above the ground, and the bricks are simple and thick. Strolling on it and looking back at the rise and fall of the ancient city over the past 2,000 years, one can't help but feel a sense of awe.

_uc***12The scenery along the Xin'an River is breathtakingly beautiful, making it an excellent place to heal the soul. The boat ticket and attraction package for 138 yuan purchased online is great value for money, and the scenery is comparable to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Thumbs up and highly recommended.

在豫见Huangshan Huixiu is a performing arts city jointly invested and built by Zhejiang Show Performing Arts Group and Huangshan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. It integrates theme performances, sightseeing and leisure, parent-child entertainment, catering, tourism and shopping. It showcases the natural beauty and cultural charm of Huizhou with three theme spaces: the large-scale tourist performance "Huixiu", the "Twelve Hours of Huizhou" on Shijing Street, and Neon Street.

nt1979Luckily, I checked the travel guide a day in advance and decided to take a taxi to the West Gate to enter. This way, you only need to climb a bit at the beginning, and then it's all downhill. Perhaps because it's autumn, it wasn't as green as I had imagined. The food in Mukeng Village was quite good; everything was grown and raised by the locals, and it tasted like something from my childhood.

六月的第一天I was truly amazed by Xixinan!! More pristine than Hongcun, more tranquil than Xidi, and best of all, it's free! Discovering this verdant wonderland at the foot of Huangshan Mountain feels like stepping into a poetic painting of ancient Huizhou.
