"@Dunhuang East Line, Guazhou County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province: No camera photography is allowed in the Yulin Grottoes. The ordinary cave entrance ticket 🎫 40 yuan/person, introduce us to 4 or 5 caves. It is said that the caves are like real estate. There are owners, some people bought them, and some people bought them with crowdfunding. Four special caves, charging standards: the second special cave ticket price is 100 yuan/person, Shuiyue Guanyin; the third special cave 🎫 150 yuan/person, Puxian Bodhisattva changes, Wenshu Bodhisattva changes; the fourth special cave 🎫 100/person; the 25th special cave 🎫 200 yuan/person. I feel that the integrity of the special cave is better than that of Mogao Grottoes."

Highlights: Yulin Grottoes are a part of Dunhuang Grottoes, carved before the Sui and Tang dynasties. The existing caves are from the Tang, Xixia, and Yuan dynasties. Yulin Grottoes share a lot with its sister Mogao Grottoes in content, artistic style, and painting form. Its value is mainly manifested in the exquisite murals, including Buddhas and Bodhisattva portraits, scenes of Buddhist stories, and a wide variety of flowers and beasts. Most of the murals are works made from a time stretching from the Tang Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty. Some images are unique in these grottoes, such as the portrait of the military officers in the Xixia period, the Buddhist monk of Tang Dynasty going on a pilgrimage for scriptures, and so on.

"Very creative, a little baby is quietly lying in the arms of the earth mother, quietly sleeping, you can come and see, but it is not recommended to come as a separate attraction. There are no other attractions around."

Highlights: The Son of Earth is located on the Red Hill Slope in Guazhou County's Gobi Desert. It is a large outdoor themed sculpture made primarily of red sandstone and sculpted using 3D scanning technology. The sculpture is approximately 15 meters long, 4.3 meters tall, and 9 meters wide. Though it is a sculpture, it is not rigid. It appears to be a real baby: with a silly expression, closed eyes, and peacefully lying down - just like a child nestled in its mother's arms, with a calm sleeping posture. We humans are like children of Mother Earth, and we can only be so calm when we are in the embrace of Mother Earth. Therefore, the designer of this sculpture hopes to raise people's awareness of the importance of protecting the Earth through the sculptural construction technique.

"The fare of 50 is a bit expensive, and the time to play is a bit short, but the attractions are quite worth it. This is the city site of Guazhou City in the Tang Dynasty. It is a grade with Yangguan Yumenguan. This city is still very large. The site of Ta'er Temple in the scenic spot is a rare ancient temple courtyard site, which is quite eye-opening. On the roadside of the scenic spot, there is also a city site in a county subordinate to Guazhou in the Tang Dynasty, and the ruins of the city can also be seen."
