Things to do in Tongchuan

I visited Yaowang Mountain in Tongchuan on October 1st, National Day, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The mountain isn't too steep, making it suitable for leisurely exploration for all ages. The mountain is covered with ancient cypress trees, their fragrance refreshing, creating a serene environment. This is the hermitage of Sun Simiao, the "Medicine King," and there are many interesting sights, including inscriptions and grotto statues, showcasing its rich cultural heritage. The scenic area was well-organized during the National Day holiday, with clear signage, allowing me to learn about the history of traditional Chinese medicine as I walked – a very rewarding experience. Climbing to the platform offers a panoramic view of Yaozhou city. It's a great short trip around Xi'an, combining hiking, fresh air, and historical exploration – a perfect blend of relaxation and educational experience.

Title: Passionate skiing, enjoy the fun of ice and snow - my experience of skiing Introduction: Skiing, this passionate and challenging sport, is always desirable. This winter, I finally had the opportunity to come to the ski resort I had long admired and experienced a unique ice and snow journey. The following is my experience of playing at the XX ski resort, and I share this joy with you. 1. First visit to the ski resort The ski resort is located in a beautiful mountainous area with convenient transportation and complete facilities. When I arrived at the ski resort, I was immediately attracted by the natural scenery here. The snow-capped slopes, the blue sky, and the fresh air seemed to have entered a pure fairy tale world. 2. Ski equipment rental In order to better experience the fun of skiing, I rented professional ski equipment at the ski resort. The ski resort provides a full range of equipment, including skis, ski boots, ski poles, helmets, etc. The staff patiently selected suitable equipment for me and my companions, and explained in detail how to use it to ensure our safety. 3. Skiing experience 1. Beginner experience As a ski beginner, I chose the primary track. Under the guidance of the coach, I learned the basic skiing posture and skills. Although I fell several times during the process, the feeling of flying on the snow made me unable to stop. 2. Intermediate track challenge After getting familiar with the basic essentials of skiing, I began to try the intermediate track. Compared with the primary track, the intermediate track has a larger slope and a faster speed. During the sliding process, I felt the thrill of speeding, and it also tested my balance and adaptability. 3. Snow entertainment projects In addition to skiing, the ski resort also has entertainment projects such as snow flying saucers, snowmobiles, and snow tanks. My friends and I tried these projects together, and laughter echoed over the ski resort, allowing us to feel the unique charm of the ice and snow world. IV. Food and rest 1. Catering services The restaurants in the ski resort provide a rich variety of food, including authentic local specialties and a variety of fast food. After skiing, taste the food, replenish your energy, and prepare for the next play. 2. Rest area The ski resort has several rest areas equipped with comfortable chairs and heating equipment. In the rest area, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the ski resort, exchange skiing experiences, and relax. V. Intimate service 1. Coach team The coach team of XX ski resort is professional and enthusiastic. They patiently provide one-on-one teaching to tourists, so that more people can master skiing skills and enjoy skiing. 2. Safety guarantee The ski resort attaches great importance to the safety of tourists and is equipped with a professional safety guarantee team. During the skiing process, patrolling paramedics can be seen everywhere to ensure that tourists can get timely help when they encounter difficulties. 3. Children's playground The ski resort also set up a children's playground for children, equipped with professional caregivers, so that parents can let their children play in the snow with confidence. VI. Play experience 1. Challenge yourself During the play process of the ski resort,

This "living ceramic town" boasts a 1400-year history, with unique landscapes of walls built from stacked pottery jars and roads paved with ceramic shards. The colorful ceramic shard road at Longfengpo and the panoramic view of Beibaozhai are both highly scenic. Visitors can also experience pottery DIY projects such as throwing and painting, and find handmade ceramics on the street at great value. The ancient town is open to the public free of charge, combining a lively atmosphere with an artistic ambiance.

The scenic area is easily accessible, with exceptionally fresh air and a high concentration of negative oxygen ions. The entire canyon is flat; a 10-minute sightseeing bus ride takes you to the final stop, followed by a roughly 2-kilometer walk. The first 50 meters or so leads to the Heart-Shaped Flower Sea photo spot, which is stunning. There are also dreamy bubbles and a misty forest – truly a worthwhile trip, especially the Heart-Shaped Flower Sea, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Seeing the elm wood cannons and hemp fiber grenades, I was deeply moved by the hardships our ancestors endured. Respect! The scenery is beautiful, with unique geological formations. I encountered many middle school students on study tours. Fantastic, definitely worth a visit.

Yuhua Palace was first built in 624 AD (the seventh year of the Wude era of the Tang Dynasty) as Renzhi Palace. It was expanded and renamed in 647 AD (the twenty-first year of the Zhenguan era). In 651 AD (the second year of the Yonghui era), the palace was converted into a temple. It was one of the four major summer palaces of the Tang Dynasty and the place where Xuanzang spent his later years translating Buddhist scriptures and passed away.

I went there on December 28, 24. The annual tourist ticket is free. It is known as the ancestral temple of Guanyin. Legend has it that Emperor Taizong of Tang once escaped the summer heat here, Wu Zetian also came here, and Xi Zhongxun once fought guerrillas and held meetings here. The Buddha statues are all newly sculpted, and they are quite beautiful. There is no sense of déjà vu of Yiwu Small Commodity Market. If you don't take the scenic shuttle bus from the South Gate, 3 hours round trip is enough, and the parking fee is 10 yuan. The road to the scenic area is not very good.

Cotton Depot: Also known as the Womu Castle Camp, and also called Hogwarts Castle in the past, it is located on Yaowang Avenue, Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province. It was originally a national cotton reserve warehouse, but is now widely abandoned. After renovation, the local area was built into a castle with a dreamlike feature on the basis of the original cotton depot, which is open to the public and quite unique.

【Scenery】Since the temple is located on the south side of the mountain, in spring and summer, the mountain flowers are in full bloom and the fragrance is everywhere, hence the name Xiangshan. Daxiangshan Temple has a long history and is one of the three largest temples in Shaanxi Province, dating back to the Fu Qin Dynasty. The flesh-and-blood body of Avalokitesvara is enshrined here, and Avalokitesvara is very compassionate. This was the place where the Bodhisattva practiced at home, when she was the third princess, Princess Miaoshan.

The artifacts in the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum showcase the brilliant culture of China's millennia-long history. With Director Cao's more than five hours of guided tour, I gained a more concrete understanding of the history and culture of the Qin Dynasty. 👍👍👍 Grateful for the experience! 🙏🙏🙏
