Kenyatta International Convention Centre
Kenyatta International Convention Centre stands in the heart of Nairobi, designed by Norwegian and Kenyan architects. The 30-plus-story cylindrical tower, featuring a terracotta-colored exterior, combines with the rectangular banquet hall, conical theater, and rooftop conical helipad to form a complex with a striking geometric design; for the next two decades, no building in Nairobi surpassed its height until the late 1990s, making it a long-standing symbol of the city. It has hosted international conferences such as the Third World Conference on Women. For visitors, the main highlight is at the top of the tower: the rooftop helipad is now open to the public. From here, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the entire city, taking in the dense buildings and the open spaces beyond, as well as the city skyline and sunset. The top floor of the tower once housed a revolving restaurant frequented by dignitaries and celebrities. Although the restaurant is a thing of the past, the experience of taking in the view from above remains. The building features a circular theater and a large banquet hall capable of accommodating thousands. Giraffe Centre
Giraffe Centre was established by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife in Nairobi and is dedicated to the conservation of the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. This giraffe is found only in the grasslands of Eastern Africa, and due to significant habitat loss, its wild population once dropped to fewer than 130. Starting with captive breeding and through decades of continuous effort, the Rothschild's giraffe population has gradually recovered and has been released into various national parks and reserves in Kenya. The core experience at the center is observing and feeding giraffes up close from an elevated wooden platform. Staff provide food pellets made of corn, wheat, and fodder, allowing visitors to hand-feed the giraffes or even experience a "giraffe kiss"—letting the giraffe take the food directly from their lips. In addition to the feeding interaction, the center features an information display area where visitors can learn about the conservation story of the Rothschild's giraffe and an overview of wildlife in Kenya through brief explanations. Furthermore, a nature trail of about 1.5 km is open to visitors, winding through the woodland to the Gogo River. The Great Rift Valley View Point
The Great Rift Valley View Point is located near Limuru, Kenya, on the eastern edge of the Great Rift Valley. It is a classic scenic stopover on the way from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, Nakuru, or Masai Mara. Driving northwest out of Nairobi, tea plantations and pine forests stretch across the highlands, suddenly stopping here as the land drops sharply to the west—standing on the edge of the cliff over 2,000 m high, the Great Rift Valley from your geography textbook lies beneath your feet: the valley floor is wide and flat, with the distinct outline of Mount Longonot directly ahead, its summit featuring a forest-covered crater; when the weather is clear, Lake Naivasha to the northwest glimmers with a silver light; the plains to the south stretch all the way toward Masai Mara, offering an incredibly expansive view. This rift zone, known as the "scar of the Earth," was shaped by long-term crustal movements. In a broad sense, it extends north to the Jordan Valley in Western Asia and south to Mozambique, stretching thousands of km and branching into eastern and western sections. The section running through Kenya spans approx. 800 km, is tens of km wide and hundreds of m deep, with a remarkably clear outline. It happens to intersect with the equator that crosses the country, splitting the land in two, which is why Kenya is known as the "East African Cross." Some geologists speculate that in the distant future, the African continent may split in two along this rift. Standing on the viewing platform is like standing on the edge of a continent that is slowly tearing apart. Nairobi National Park feels wild and strangely cinematic at the same time, with animals moving across open grassland while the city skyline sits in the distance. It is not the biggest or most dramatic safari in Kenya, but it is one of the most memorable because the contrast is so unusual. If you go early and keep expectations realistic, it is a rewarding half day trip with strong chances of seeing rhinos, giraffes, and other wildlife close to Nairobi.

The Great Rift Valley of East Africa in Amboseli is definitely the most magnificent natural landscape in the world. It has formed a natural canyon more than 100 kilometers wide. It is home to dense forests and rich flora and fauna. It is definitely an important source of life on the African continent. The scenery here is magnificent and it is definitely a green lung on the African continent. It is well worth a visit.

The Arboretum is a huge green space that looks and feels like a dense forest with occasional clearings here and there. It was founded in 1907 by Mr Batiscombe and is now overseen by the Kenyan Forestry Department. There are many paths through the Arboretum, almost all of which are little more than dirt tracks. If you walk straight along the wide path leading to the main gate, you'll pass some of the most frequented spots in the area - here we saw people picnicking under the trees, sitting alone, reading or listening to music

Headed to the Sunken Garden. Beautiful shaded paths meander through water features, bird habitats and tropical plants. Stopping to feed the fish, talk to the birds, and read the Bricks of Love on the Wedding Lawn, it took us about an hour to meander through. It will take us some time to renovate our backyard garden with our inspirational ideas. Very romantic, very family friendly, and shaded. Well done.
