During my recent trip to Shaanxi, driving along the Yellow River Highway, I learned about the Liangjiacun Rui State Site Museum in Hancheng. After booking tickets online, I drove there. The museum is quite grand and covers a large area. The exhibition halls are on the second floor; I started from the first hall and proceeded sequentially without backtracking. Inside, I learned that the Rui State was a small state during the late Zhou Dynasty and early Spring and Autumn Period. The site was discovered in 2004 after explosives detonated during tomb raiding, and excavation was carried out after being reported to higher authorities. Unearthed artifacts include bronzes, jades, gold jewelry, and chariots, some of which I had already seen at the Shaanxi History Museum. However, some items were not found there, such as musical instruments like chimes, openwork tendon sheaths, jade swords, and jewelry. It's well worth a visit to learn about the history of that era.
