HMAS Sydney II Memorial
Cenotaph is located on Mount Scott and was built to commemorate the 645 sailors who lost their lives on the HMAS Sydney II during World War II. In 1941, the HMAS Sydney II sank after a surprise attack by the German auxiliary cruiser Kormoran. The central part of the Cenotaph is a massive, silver, open-air dome supported by seven pillars, representing the seven states and territories of Australia. The dome is composed of 645 silver seagulls, symbolizing the souls of the fallen. The names of the 645 fallen sailors are inscribed on the memorial wall. Near the silver dome, there is also a towering Cenotaph shaped like a ship's bow, along with a bronze statue of a woman waiting for her loved one to return. It's worth going! The museum is not big, and it mainly introduces the history, products, wildlife, and Aboriginal culture of Western Australia. The most impressive thing is the display of giant kangaroo specimens and the discrimination and human rights violations that the Aboriginals have suffered.

Geraldton is a coastal city in Western Australia. The downtown beach here is also the largest beach here, with beautiful scenery. The color of the sea water is clearly layered, and the visual effect is very good. There are also many tourists here, which is definitely a good place to play in the sea and take pictures.

The entire building is simple and solemn on the outside, and unique and harmonious on the inside.
Opposite it is an exhibition about Bishop John Hawes, who is both an architect and a priest, and this church is his best work.
Maybe it's too early or it's not Sunday, the church is empty at the moment, not even the staff. Even so, the solemn atmosphere still makes us hold our breath and admire.
