Scenic World is near the Three Sisters in Katoomba, where you can take three different types of transport, enjoy a panoramic view from the air, take a walk deep into the rainforest, and experience the hard work of miners in the past. 1. Sightseeing activities The attraction is located in the Blue Mountains and offers three options for visitors to choose from: the Railway train, the Cableway cable car, and the Skyway high-altitude cabin. Visitors are recommended to take the Railway down the mountain in the morning, as the slope is relatively steep and quite thrilling; take the Cableway up the mountain, where you can photograph the Three Sisters. The Railway and Cableway are ways to reach the rainforest floor trail, and you can ride them down into the rainforest. 2. Skyway This is a large cable car painted yellow, running round-trip between the attraction entrance and the eastern hilltop near Katoomba. The elevation difference is minimal, essentially shuttling between two hilltops. The floor of the cabin is transparent, and most of the cabin's sides are also transparent glass, allowing a 360-degree view of the Blue Mountains scenery, the Three Sisters, and Katoomba Falls. There is English audio commentary inside the cabin. It is completely unsuitable for those afraid of heights. 3. Cableway The blue cableway connects the entrance to the rainforest at the bottom of Jamison Valley, with a length of 545 m. This section is purely for transportation convenience, and the cable car is smooth and fast. 4. Mini train (Railway) The little red train runs near the original mine cart tracks, and at a steep 52 degrees, the straight-up-and-down sensation makes many visitors find it super thrilling. It can take you from the entrance to near the start of the rainforest trail. 5. Rainforest trail The 2.4 km rainforest trail is well worth walking in its entirety. If you can't manage the full distance, you can take the shorter route to the blue cable car station—just over 1 km, and a pleasant stroll. Besides the delightful rainforest scenery, there is also a series of exhibits introducing the former coal mine, the tools miners used, transportation vehicles, and more—very interesting.

Three Sisters are an iconic sandstone rock formation in the Blue Mountains in Australia, rising on the Jamison Valley cliff edge near Katoomba. They consist of three yellow-brown sandstone peaks standing side by side, named Meehni, Wimlah, and Gunnedoo, each at about 900 m elevation. Formed by wind and rain eroding the softer sandstone over hundreds of millions of years, they and the continuous cliffs behind them create one of the Blue Mountains' most recognizable scenes. A widely told Aboriginal legend adds a story to the rocks: three sisters from the Katoomba people fell in love with three brothers from the nearby Nipian people, a relationship that broke tribal law and sparked conflict between the groups. In the crisis, an elder turned the sisters into stone to protect them; no one could ever restore them, and the Three Sisters have watched over the valley ever since. There are several versions of the tale, and it's best taken as a story—the real protagonists remain the three rock peaks before you. When you visit, don't be satisfied with just viewing them from a distance: Echo Point viewing platform is the classic spot to frame Three Sisters with the whole valley in one shot. From there, the Giant Stairway trail descends nearly 1,000 stone steps to the valley floor; walking partway down lets you look up at the cliffs from below, offering a more dramatic angle than the viewpoint. The mist from the Blue Mountains' eucalyptus forest often gives the valley a pale blue veil, and the soft light at dawn and at sunset is ideal for photography. The stairs are steep—easy to descend but strenuous to climb back up, so go only as far as you can manage.

The red cable car 🚠 was so much fun! I rode it twice. The second time, I asked if I could sit in the front row, and the staff warmly invited me there and even offered to help me take photos!

The Three Sisters is a very famous mountain. The Three Sisters is also three high peaks connected together. This place is also quite interesting. The mountains are also full of lush natural things, and there are some undeveloped scenery.

I went to Australia for a trip and this stop was in Sydney, where I checked in at the Blue Mountains. There is a scenic spot called "Echo Valley". I saw a sign and knew it was there, but because it was a good place to take photos of the Three Sisters Peaks next to it, more tourists tended to take photos of the Three Sisters Peaks and ignored this Echo Valley. I looked at it and found that it was actually a valley. It should be called "Echo Valley" because if you shout, there will be an echo, but no one shouted, and I was embarrassed to shout.

Rolla is an English town in the western suburbs of Sydney. Most of the buildings here are English country buildings with a strong retro color. In this small village, there are many very exquisite shops hidden, which are very unique and worth visiting.

You haven’t been to Sydney if you haven’t been to the Blue Mountains. World Heritage Site that is 2 hours scenic train ride from Sydney Central Station. If you’re on a budget like me, Get off at Katoomba station & take the bus to Echo Point to see the three sisters and walk the giant staircase down to bottom of the 3 sisters. But if you want to spend a little, Scenic World tour office is just at the exit of the Katoomba train station.

The Blue Mountains are huge. This is the Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens. There were a lot of people on the first weekend after the ban was lifted. It is autumn in Australia now. The autumn in the Blue Mountains is undoubtedly very beautiful. There are maple leaves and sycamore trees here, with various colors layered on top of each other. The climate here is also a little colder than in Sydney. The fallen leaves, colorful colors, and the blue sky are beautiful at first glance.
