Reviews: Wadi Ghuweir Full-Day Hike with Local Guide & Lunch.
Guest User2025-10-22
I had such an incredible experience on this hike with Essa. He is an excellent and very experienced guide. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing both the nature and culture of Jordan and the Bedouins. The hike itself is stunning with impressive rock formations, lots of greenery, and a beautiful oasis where you can swim and relax. It was lovely having tea there with Essa. Later, he cooked Gallaya for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious — one of my favorite meals during my whole trip to Jordan. I can only recommend this tour!
Reviews: Jerash, Ajloun, Umm Qais Day Trip
Guest User2025-12-01
This was a great day out exploring with my partner. Our kind driver Ahmad took us safely from site to site, starting at Umm Qais, Aljoun and finally Jerash, and even surprised us with a gift. We think this way around to do the sites was better and would recommend. Note we didn’t have any guides. In Umm Qais, the mausoleum and the amphitheater were beautiful. Investment in better signage would be helpful to the other sites as they have faded a bit. Lovely views. Ajloun…the castle is incredible! Stunning views. Great vantage point. They have done a great job to preserve it. Personal preference would be to have small signs in each of the rooms / floors with an indication of what it could have been /was. There are information boards of course but you can get lots with all the levels and sections - huge and grand. Jerash is a wonder. Well sign posted and a number of the sites well preserved. The north part of particular note because of how much you can still see. Only negative, was that there were quite a few people inside trying to push to buy things, take photos or be tour guide for money. At some points it was a bit much and uncomfortable because you were followed. Otherwise, you can explore freely and try to imagine the city as it was so many years ago.
