Very convenient and affordable. We purchased an eSIM card for four days in Kuala Lumpur in advance. Upon arrival, we activated it at the airport (requires Wi-Fi) without any problems. Internet didn't work automatically on my iPhone; I had to enable data roaming on the SIM card in the settings.
