Coach was on time, comfortable and had WiFi. Tour guide Helen was lovely, informative and helpful. She was a superstar as I think a lot of her interesting information was missed by many who were chatting. Location was amazing, perfectly timed. The only criticism I’d have was the lunch was a bit expensive, there appeared to be loads of choice as we drove to the secluded spot, and a coach that size could at least negotiate a discount, or free water/bread. Water is 7 euros & bread 3 euros a slice. We had a great day but this was down to Helen be lovely.

I highly recommend the guide Eleni. this was without a doubt the best guide and the best tour I have ever been on. Eleni was extremely friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. She took great care of every participant, talked to everyone, and made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. Everything was clearly explained, and Eleni was very open to questions and always happy to answer them. The atmosphere throughout the tour was relaxed and enjoyable, with no stress or rush. The views were absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more special. I am very satisfied with the tour and wholeheartedly recommend Eleni. I truly wish there were more guides like her.

The excursion went very well on November 17, 2025, in a minibus. Our driver-guide was very friendly and enjoyed sharing information with the participants from various countries. The duration of the excursion was just right for visiting all the sites in Vergina and Pella on the itinerary. If possible, a detour to the ruins of the Royal Palace of Vergina would be a great addition. The Macedonian tombs of Vergina? A feast for the eyes! The museums of Pella and Vergina? Very beautiful to see. Wonderful memories of this excursion. A must-do (and repeat) if you are in Thessaloniki.

What a great experience and view. We just walked in about 6pm and there were loads of tables, so no need to pre book a set drink/food package. Saw the city in evening light and after dark. There is a great choice of drinks, understandably pricy but our glass of wine and a cocktail (at 25 euros) with cheese and ham pin wheels and dish of assorted nuts, so no real need to order food. Great experience to relax for an hour or so.
