We took the tour from Te Anau. We stopped at many places on the way to Milford Sound, allowing us to take photos. You can buy lunch on the Milford Sound cruise, or bring your own. We were grateful for the free coffee, tea, and water. We were able to see many incredibly high cliffs and really get a feel for the sheer scale of the place.

We are a family of 5, all in our sixties. The tour is nicely organized with breaks for sightseeing and toilet. Bus even has a transparent top for viewing, definitely recommend for those who prefer not to drive to Milford sound.

Cost-effective, great experience, good service, overall awesome, the eighth wonder of the world, worthy of the name. Tour guide Tania is super good, responsible, considerate for the guests, experienced and warm. highly recommended.

Would recommend. Good value trip. Really good day. Drive Sebastian was great. Very knowledgeable and great commentary. Lots of drop off to see interesting things. Cruise also great. Captain was also very interesting and informative.


