Reviews: Shanghai Palace Banquet: Immersive experience of a royal feast thousands of years ago (fine Food and Beverages+ dance performance + Qin Dynasty historical and cultural experience + optional Clothes & Accessories and makeup)

A very good show; we had a great time. The description says the staff speaks English, which is false. So ordering extras and drinks was difficult. Be aware that some seats are behind a pillar.

The show is amazing. I booked zone A and had a great seat. Booking agent was a little slower at issuing the QR code than stated in the email, but very responsive. Would recommend this show for all tourists to Shanghai.

One of the best experiences you'll have in Shanghai!! Be sure to book a front row seat—everyone has a fantastic view—you can see all the performers! The food is also top-notch—I highly recommend it.

The service was attentive, the environment comfortable and quiet, and the makeup area clean and hygienic. The makeup artist was highly skilled, achieving flawless base makeup, delicate eyebrows and eyes, and a highly suitable look. The photography guidance was meticulous, adjusting posture and composition to produce natural and elegant photos without any artificial posing, resulting in very authentic shots.
Reviews: Li Bai Crab·Crab Roe Noodles·River View Restaurant (The Bund·Yu Garden Branch)

We booked the restaurant for my father's birthday, but it was indeed very crowded, especially with out-of-towners. If you don't arrive early, all the seats will be taken. It's actually quite difficult to get a window seat with a river view. The food was average, nothing special. Also, the price wasn't great value; it was more than half the price on Dianping (a Chinese review platform). I suggest not booking through Ctrip; stick to Dianping.
Reviews: Warehouse No.3 (Instagrammable Shanghai Hotspot Restaurant)

Easy to book on trip.com, different locations we went to the one on Nanjing road inside the shopping centre, easy to find, showed the staff our voucher, she logged it and said come back in 30mins we walked around came back, waited another 45min before we were called in and seated (they provided water and snacks while you wait) this was around 1pm. It looks just like Instagram, very cool, very clean and aesthetically pleasing, staff are great, we used a translation app to order as no one spoke fluent English, we had the set for 2-4 people (it was way to much for 2 people to eat) they served a whole fish, after we’d eaten dumplings, beef in a sauce on mashed potatoes and some kind of pickled vegetable. Was a great experience, great price and staff were awesome.
