Exceptional Food & Wine Tasting Experience in Vienna The food and wine tasting in Vienna was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Every course was beautifully prepared, highlighting the rich culinary traditions of Austria, and thoughtfully paired with exceptional local wines. Each tasting felt intentional and elevated, making the entire experience feel both luxurious and authentic. Our host was incredibly knowledgeable—sharing the history behind each dish and wine, along with insights into Vienna’s vibrant food culture. The atmosphere was warm, intimate, and welcoming, creating the perfect setting to savor every flavor. This experience was a true highlight of my time in Vienna. I left with a deeper appreciation for Austrian cuisine and wines, and I would highly recommend this tasting to anyone visiting the city. A memorable and truly 5-star experience!

What a delightful tour! Our guide, Christoph, was absolutely perfect. Self-deprecating, incredibly knowledgeable -- a consummate professional. We began with coffee and strudel, followed with a delicious open-faced ham and fresh horseradish sandwich and a cold beer (wine and soft drink were also an option), then on to a gorgeous open-air market, some pork schnitzel and Viennese potato salad (and more beer), then beef goulash (and more beer) and finally, delicious sausages from a street vender -- and -- you guessed it -- more beer. The restaurants were in different locations outside of the city center -- so also a great way to learn the public transportation system (which is first-rate). You must come hungry!

We spent the week of Christmas in Vienna, and our entire group agreed that our food tour with Maria was the highlight of our trip. She's truly passionate about the local food culture, and it was nice to get away from the city center and enjoy a local experience in many of the wonderful and diverse districts of Vienna. Our tour exceeded all expectations, and we would highly recommend Maria to anyone visiting Vienna.

Very fun place! The scenery was great like we were in an underground wine cellar. The amount of wine that was there was incredible. We only paid for the 5 tastings but we could’ve added on but the 5 pours were generous and the sommelier gave us a personal curation of each wine. Others who paid more seemed to be able to walk and pour themselves tastings which would’ve been fine as well but as I said the 5 were more than enough. Highly recommend.

Thank you for a great Food tour, we all enjoyed the walk, the Food and especially Our guide. She had a lot of knowledge and patience to answer all our questions, and her Swedish was excellent and easy to understand. The tour was well organized and you showed us places we would never found by ourselves, and gave us some memorable tastes.


