We booked a transfer from our hotel in Kata. The minivan picked us up first (two hours before the ferry's departure), which was comfortable and cheaper than a taxi. There were two other couples on the transfer to the pier. The speedboat itself arrived in exactly an hour, and we didn't get seasick. There were also travelers with children aged one and two, and we didn't see anyone get sick. There's a restroom on board.★

We booked a ticket from Phi Phi to Phuket with hotel transfer included; we got the best price here. We followed the instructions, checked in near the ship, and were immediately given a sticker indicating the hotel transfer. In Phuket, a representative escorted us to a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus for nine people. There were two other couples there, too.★
