My trip to Osaka was from November 2nd to 6th, 2025. I bought the JR Kansai Mini Pass, which was quite convenient and cost-effective. I visited Kobe and Kyoto, both of which had new rapid transit lines. On the last day, I also took the Airport Express. Note that cars 5-8 on the Airport Express might be assigned to Wakayama, so be sure to take cars 1-4. I also took the Arashiyama Scenic Railway; make sure you buy the correct section ticket, as it offers round-trip tickets. I bought the wrong one.

Our knowledgeable guide, a local expert, shared fascinating insights into the sake-making process, explaining the intricate techniques involved in producing this beloved Japanese beverage. We had the opportunity to taste a variety of sakes, each with its own unique flavor profile. Tomoko recommended the plum wine, it’s great!

While it doesn't have the enormous tanks found in other aquariums, it has many smaller tanks that allow you to view the fish up close, which is nice. Each floor has a different atmosphere, making it enjoyable. You can see everything in about 2-3 hours even if you take your time, so it's easy to plan your schedule.
