For the return we also take the boat ride, but due to typhoon tail the return a little rough, a lot of passengers vomit, luckily we took sea sick pill one hour before the departure so we are ok. 60 mins boat ride is just right for Penghu trip, we are happy about it.★

It’s cheaper than getting from the station and if you want reserved seats, you have to book in advance anyway. You can’t pick it up from the machines, you have to pick it up from the teller. Make sure you arrive 30 mins before departure.★

I used this service for the following routes: Taipei-Tainan, Tainan-Chiayi, Chiayi-Tainan, and Tainan-Taipei. I was able to book online the first time, but after that I couldn't book online and had to book at the counter. Please be careful! I enjoyed the excitement of having stickers indicating my destinations attached to my ticket!★

I took the train from Kaohsiung to Hualien. The train is really cute and pretty. The crew members were also friendly and always greeted me with a smile. The karaoke carriage features Japanese and Korean songs in addition to Chinese ones. Be sure to try the pendant making activity during the event time.★

This is a great value ticket package with unlimited use within a 3-day period. Buying the tickets separately would be much more expensive. It's a good deal for Taipei-Kaohsiung, Kaohsiung-Taiyan-Kaohsiung, and Kaohsiung-Taipei routes.
