This family trip to Chengdu was made possible by a specially chosen small group tour, and the experience was truly excellent. In the morning, we visited the Panda Valley and saw the giant and red pandas, which delighted the whole family. In the afternoon, guided by our driver, we toured the ancient Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Our driver patiently explained the principles of Dujiangyan's design, its damless water diversion, and its ingenious water and sediment separation, as well as the story of Li Bing and his son's water management based on natural laws. The Dujiangyan Irrigation System, with its continuous flow for millennia, showcases the extraordinary wisdom of the ancients. It was an educational and entertaining tour, and we were very satisfied! 👍

Although but pricey but totally worth the experience. I didn't expect the food quality to be so good. Delicious. And the memorable plum wine too. The performance pair with story telling that ties to each dishes served. A banquet for the kings indeed. Beware of seats that view gets blocked by pillar. Other than that all good. Recommended.
