We bought ferry tickets on Trip.com, and everything went perfectly. We showed our online tickets, received printed ones, checked our luggage, and waited. Keep in mind that our flight was delayed by 40 minutes at the port, and the previous one by 1.5 hours; they don't always have perfect timing! We stayed in economy, but we didn't like it; four cockroaches per seat was too much. Otherwise, it's fine; getting from point to point quickly is the best option (other than flying).

Oceanjet ferry from Bohol to Cebu. The boat rise was smooth and comfortable, approximately 2 hour journey and business class shows a movie on the way, but the cabin may be cold so suggest bring a jacket. Ferry terminal is efficient, but be aware there is a 30 pesos tax to pay before you enter the terminal, also suggest tickets are printed (the hotel did this for free).

The tickets worked, everything was fine. But we waited over two hours on the boat for departure. There was an additional 100 pesos baggage fee. Unloading at the destination also took quite a while. In the end, we arrived at the destination only around -4:00 PM.


