Traveling solo, I was completely intimidated by all the Egypt guides I'd read online. With trepidation, I booked a day tour, and it completely changed my expectations. My guide, a middle-aged man, was incredibly enthusiastic and professional, filling me in on Egyptian history. He explained he'd been a Chinese-speaking tour guide for over 20 years, welcoming numerous Chinese tourists. His proud expression was truly endearing. At the end of the trip, I tipped him and the driver $10 each, which was well worth it. Cairo is shabby, but not as scary as the guides suggest. The driver and guide the travel agency arranged for me were truly wonderful people!

Was such an amazing tour! I had done another pyramid tour before but this one was more in depth and got to see more which was perfect, thoroughly enjoyed. Paula Samir was fantastic and looked after me, gave me some good tips and was very knowledgeable.
