It was a delightful day exploring the Boquete area. We stopped at a coffee shop/farm for a drink at the beginning of the tour, then headed to a beautiful waterfall. Our tour guide, Laura, was very informative and gave us several photo opportunities. We were given a tutorial of how to use the bike before heading out.

Our guide Jaime knew the forest so well having grown up in the area and shared his knowledge and passion for everything in it. We learnt so much from Jaime about the plants and trees and even managed to see some howler monkeys up in the trees. The walk was a gentle incline and it’s important to wear shoes with good grips as it’s slippery after/during the rain. It’s a very lovely way to spend a morning

It was really cool! The guide treated us well and explained everything, even making changes to avoid bad weather. It's a very comprehensive excursion and we saw a lot. The place they took us to eat was very good. If I had to mention something, I would have liked more time on Zapatilla Island.


