the path of the forts is a walk among the most spectacular of Capri. A route that runs along the sea from Punta Carena to the Blue Cave, between rock frames, sculptural promontories and deep bays like fjords with turquoise waters. Along the way you will find three fortresses that once served the defense of Capri: Orrico, Pino and Mesola.
The Fortini are old military positions built by the British in 1806 and enlarged by the French after the capture of Capri, occurred to Orrico on October 4, 1808. The path that connects them can be taken both from the Blue Grotto and from the Lighthouse of Punta Carena.
The walking time is about 3 hours, there are no significant differences in altitude but it is important to be good walkers.
