This was our favorite activity in our trip to Costa Rica. Thanks Carlos for the wonderful tour! In a two hour walk around the observatory on the side of the Arenal volcano we were able to see 37 species of birds. Amazing! Not only were we able to see many birds but Carlos helped us to return with beautiful photos.

Our guide, José Luis, was very attentive, friendly, and polite. He had excellent knowledge of the area, its flora and fauna. He explained everything very well and made the experience spectacular. A very good guide and a very good driver as well.

The tour was brilliant, we saw a lot of plants and animals, our guide told us a lot of interesting things and showed us a lot of animals. If we hadn't had a guide, we wouldn't have found half as many animals. The environment is beautiful, with views of the Arenal volcano in some places. The tour was 2 and a half hours, but it flew by so quickly that we thought it was 10 minutes.


