Reviews: From Cala Gonone: motorboat transfer to Cala Luna beach

We had no problem collecting our tickets at the ticket office near the supermarket as instructed; however, we found the boat allocation at the port to be a bit haphazard. There was no set route, it was a free-for-all, first-come, first-served. We enjoyed Cala Luna beach. We recommend taking the 10:00 AM departure at the latest, before the crowds arrive, and packing a cooler for lunch. Several return times are possible.

Hell wasn't that great; we spent an hour there, an hour we could have spent on the beach. But the beach was incredibly beautiful, and you could see lots of fish.

I highly recommend this experience!! The explanations are superb, and our guide Marco was warm and friendly! We took a trip to the north (Palau), and it was much less enjoyable and exclusive! If you can, pay the price because the experience is far superior: the boat is much more pleasant, the explanations are clearer, you can ask questions whenever you want, etc. A smaller group means more comfortable seats... a superb experience and magnificent scenery! However, remember to ask about the cave tour before Cala Biríala; we hadn't read the information to ask about it at that point, so we missed it without being able to go in... The beaches can be very crowded, but this is mostly beyond the control of the tour operator.

Everything was fantastic! As we Germans say, "from A to Z." Because we were traveling off-season, the beach was practically empty. Apart from 15-20 other daredevils, we braved the adventure of lying on the beach in 25-30 degree heat. The return trip also went smoothly. I can highly recommend this tour to everyone.
